Woot! Go obsessiveness!

So, according to this post here, Hilde's profile page mentions that she saved the life of Saria. Saria used to be part of Siegfried's "Schwartzwind" and apparently assumed leadership when he disappeared. Someone mentioned that she appeared as a background character in Soul Calibur I...so I did a bit of digging :P

Behold! I give you a picture of Saria (I think) and badly translated English text - credit goes to Google Translator for that. My interpretation of the text in red, of course :P

You shoulda seen the beaver suits...

Part of the reason why I'm excited about the new Chronicles of Narnia movies (with Prince Caspian coming out next month) is because I wanna heal the horror that the 1989 version caused me.

I'm talking about people in animal suits. Even as a 8-ish year old (I forgot how old I was when I first read the books and watched the movies), those actors pretending to be talking in animals were REALLY BAD.

Example, the 1989 version of Reepicheep the mouse:


Picture quality's bad, but that is indeed a dude in an mouse suit. With another dude in an badger suit standing behind him.

Now let's compare it to the 2008 version of Reepicheep:

Not that this 2008 version is perfect, of course. Here's a list of complaints that won't make sense unless you've read the books (HINT HINT):

• Prince Caspian is supposed to be 13. THIRTEEN YEARS OLD IN THIS MOVIE. The actor who plays him is TWENTY SIX. GODDAMMIT. (He's also supposed to be blonde -_-)
  
• Okay, what is this rumor about a Caspian/Susan love interest??? THIS IS NOT RIGHT FOR SO MANY REASONS WHICH ARE SPOILERS SO I WON'T TYPE THEM HERE (...basically, they have very different and separate fates in the books).
  
• ...Telmarines have Spanish accents? I mean, sure they're supposed to be descended from Spanish pirates, but you'd think they'd either just keep on speaking Spanish or adopt a Narnian (British) accent after living there for...er...many, many, many generations...
  

Having said that, they better make a movie outta The Silver Chair, and it better be good O___O (Voyage of the Dawn Treader was good too, but yeah)

On Time Talkback, someone posted THIS PICTURE of a Rain messageboard which supposedly shows Rain fans cheating by using automatic voting. Rain fans were not pleased.


The post goes on for a while :P

It was followed by

Of course, it is unknown whether these are true Clouds (Rain fans) or just Colbert fans trying to ruin Rain's and the Clouds' reputations. Colbert fans retaliated anyways.

hello,everyone: This is Rain's cloud from china. I have to say sorry, I don't know Stephen Colbertf or some ather people on this list.. I'm Limited :( I think that is because we are living in a different courtry with different culture. But I m sure they are all great , and influential . but the vote of Time100 in last 2days,is really hurt us ( Rain's fans),we got a lot of people to vote 1 for Rain, He is so nice and hard person, but why do they vote bad to Rain just because he is ahead of some people !!!That is not right way to vote at all!! You can not vote him 1 just because you don't know him or he is ahead of your idol now. this world must have some thing nice to do . support the person you like .,go vote the person you like!!!

Yup, Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2008 poll is up, and Colbert's battling Rain for the top spot again. Oh, and some woman named Stephenie Meyer's near the top too (apparently she writes young adult vampire novels? O__o)
