Warning: Huge Rant Ahead

Okok, so after the Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Secret Ending came out, someone came up with this theory on Xehanort/the next KH game (which will NOT be called KH3, apparently).

I would like to add to that theory.

*inhales deeply*

So the basic theory is this:

Now let me make some points :P

1) Fighting the Knight Guy
I believe people are calling him the Enigmatic Soldier (ES). So anyways, Sora can actually fight ES in Final Mix. I think it's a memory of the ES or something, not the actual present-day one. Before the fight, the ES has some interesting things to say:

"Aqua... Ven... Keyblade... who are you? ..."

"...All I have is my hatred towards Xehanort..."

Ok, first of all, some people have speculated that Aqua and Ven refer to these two from the secret ending:

Interesting note: There may be some similarity between these 3 soldiers/knights and Sora, Riku and Kairi...er, other than the fact that they're 3 people - 2 guys, 1 girl - that have Keyblades.

Aqua's name is obviously related to water. Well, so is Kairi's (Kai = sea). Now, Riku's name comes from the Japanese word for land, and Sora comes from sky. So maybe Ven is somehow air/earth related? It sounds like it could be air related - vent, ventilation and all :P So this may be a hint that these two groups of three people may be related in some way or another. Or there could be parallels between them.

Next point: ES says that all he has is hatred towards Xehanort. This makes sense with the big theory above, cause the ES was fighting the bald dude (= Xehanort in theory) in the secret ending. Also, the ES would be pretty pissed at Xehanort for possessing his body... :P


2) Xemnas' past

We learn a little about Xemnas from this extra scene in Final Mix (part 2). Important points:

Note how Xigbar mentions Xemnas' past,

People with Keyblades started to appear and fought great battles. When they were gone, a man who had lost his memories appeared. Xemnas... no... Xehanort was taken in by Ansem around that time, was he not?

This supports the theory, as the ES could have been possessed by the original Xehanort, losing his memories and eventually becoming Xehanort himself.

But new Xehanort remembers something about his past as the ES...

In the video, the suit of armor lying on the floor belonged to Aqua. Xemnas addresses it as "friend," supporting the theory that he was the ES and still remembers being the ES.

Next, the room he's in, according to Vexen and Zexion, is the "Room of Sleep." Xigbar elaborates,

The "Room of Sleep"... the underground laboratory where we were studying the darkness within people's hearts, the place which Ansem ordered us to seal-away... The first thing Xemnas did when he got rid of our wise yet bothersome leader was to release the seal and make that room in the depths of the laboratory. After that he frequently went down there and I could hear him talking with someone. Isn't that odd? Xemnas is supposed to be in there alone.

Well, the new secret ending video begins with these words:
Room of Sleep connected to Birth by Sleep somehow? Maybe Xemnas is using the Room of Sleep as a rebirthing place (that sounds wrong O_o) to bring back Aqua.

Furthermore, he might be trying to bring back Ven too. Xigbar mentions a similar room in Castle Oblivion (featured as an Org13 base in Chain of Memories),

With the "Room of Sleep" comes the "Room of Awakening", the other place. That is what he is seeking; that room, which was not made by Xemnas. Perhaps that is where the other... "friend" is."

If the other friend's not Ven, I'd be very surprised :P So, maybe the next KH game will mention Xemnas (aka ES possessed by original Xehanort) trying to bring his friends back to life.

(Alternate theory: Xemnas is trying to use those rooms to "reawaken" his former self and his friends are helping. Again, "Birth by Sleep" makes sense cause he's being reborn in the "Room of Sleep.")

Side note: HOLY CRAP LOOKIT HOW MUCH I'VE WRITTEN. So sad... T___T


3) The Ansem Report
Okay, in the Ansem Report #1 that was mentioned in the original theory picture, Ansem notes how,

"It seems that another of my disciples, Even, also has a strong interest in Xehanort's memories."

Huh, Even (Vexen) really wants to know more about Xehanort...maybe it's cause he thinks that Xehanort has knowledge that will give Vexen new powers. ICE POWERS, PERHAPS?!


Again showing that ES was possessed by original Xehanort. New Xehanort retained old Xehanort's powers and somehow gave them to Vexen :P Also, old Xehanort could control Earth too (seen in secret ending), so that explains Lexaeus' power too.


4) *drops dead from over-analysis*
Final note, WTH IS WITH THE POINTY EARS???!!!


*brain explodes*

Some members of Org13 have pointy ears too (e.g. Xigbar, Saix). 'Tis the true mystery of Kingdom Hearts O_O

...

I also can't figure out why old Xehanort and the ES both use Keyblades but Xehanort's Heartless and Xemnas don't =/ Oh well...
